Games Night at Metrotown Citadel in Burnaby, B.C.

When the program launched, approximately 20 mothers and children came to the games night, which happens every Friday. Now, nearly 60 people attend each week.

The Canadian Rabbit Hopping Club provides entertainment at an Easter-themed family fun night

On Tuesdays in High River, Alta., the Foothills Church Adventure Club is the place to be. With plenty of games, crafts and other activities, it’s the perfect way for children to spend the afternoon. Since March 5, The Salvation Army in Cornwall, Ont., has been helping people in the area complete their annual income tax returns. In just five weeks, a dedicated group of volunteers has completed approximately 1,000 returns, and Oren Cole, corps leader, says he expects that number to climb to 1,500 by the end of April.
