Just as airmen get their wings, Christians do as well. There is no greater joy than finding liberty in Christ.

Many think that Christianity is a drag and drudgery, when nothing is further from the truth. Religion is seen as merely laying out a list of rules and tying one's spirit to it. The result is that the really serious, honest ones become discouraged because they grow tired trying to be good while others make the rules easier and fewer resulting in cheap grace and hypocrisy.

Real Christianity is falling in love and there is no power greater. Humans will do anything when love is the motivator. The love of Christ brings power or wings; power that changes and enables. When comparing religion of the law to the liberty found in Christ, the Apostle Paul said it beautifully in 2 Corinthians 3:9,17-18:

“If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! ...Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
