When Grace* escorted her friend to the Salvation Army Comox Valley Ministries for assistance, she did not expect to find herself working on her life goals with the Pathway of Hope staff.  A year to the day she signed up, Grace graduated, achieving her goal of employment and joining a walking club which addressed her health goal.  But Grace has experienced so much more from the support provided through Pathway of Hope.  A church family, a pastor she meets with regularly for spiritual and emotional care; with the support from the caseworker, Grace has developed her confidence, is setting better personal boundaries, and developing her leadership and self-advocacy skills.  Gratefully, Grace says, “I would highly recommend Pathway of Hope to others”.
