Vision

The Salvation Army in Canada and Bermuda is riding the wave of a new vision statement: “We are an innovative partner, mobilized to share hope wherever there is hardship, building communities that are just and know the love of Jesus.”

This vision is the destination for our territory that we will achieve by 2030. To get there, we will follow the framework of the new territorial strategy, which we like to think of as the map that guides us to the vision.

Following the release of the vision statement in November 2020, Salvationists, officers, employees, volunteers and friends of the Army across Canada and Bermuda committed to learning the vision. Using resources from the Learning the Vision engagement toolkit, together we identified what innovation, partnership, sharing hope, building just communities, and Jesus love looks and feels like in local settings and what those words mean for our Army.

We are an innovative partner, mobilized to share hope wherever there is hardship, building communities that are just and know the love of Jesus.
