TAKE THE NEXT STEP THAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU!

Congratulations! You’ve done some good self-reflection! …But don’t stop there!

Remember, your faith—and using the Personal Grid—is not meant to be a solo journey. Before going further, take time now, to share your completed Grid with those you decided to CONNECT with at first.

Share why you think your completed Grid looks the way it does.

Here are some thoughts to get your conversation rolling:

REFLECT

Which two areas on the Grid did you feel best described you and your current journey, as you read the definitions? (ie. Which sections are coloured in the most?)Which two areas did you feel least described you? (ie. Which sections are coloured in the least?)Why do you think this is? What do you think accounts for how your completed Grid looks?

Do those you’re CONNECTing with have thoughts or questions about how your Grid looks?

Now, have them share what their completed Personal Grid looks like in the same way. Do you have thoughts or questions about how their Grid looks?

Once you’ve have a conversation about what your Grids look like, now is the time to

SELECT

Which of these areas on your Grid would you like to strengthen in the weeks ahead?

Remember:

  1. You can choose any area you would like; it doesn’t need to be the area that you feel least describes you—although it could be. Identify an area that you would like to take a next step of growth within.)
  2. You don’t have to choose the same area as the others you’re connecting with. Each of you will choose your own area to take a personal step of growth that’s right for you!

On the next page, choose the version of the Personal Grid Menu Options that you think best suits where you are in your discipleship journey.
