TERRITORIAL Short-Term Mission Trip
The International Development Department has a territorial short-term mission trip for Salvationists across the Canada and Bermuda Territory, providing an opportunity to experience the work of The Salvation Army in another territory.
This year the team will be traveling for 10 days to Mozambique, in the Africa zone in May 2026. Details for the next territorial short-term mission trip will be shared in Fall 2026—we invite you to check back then to learn more about future opportunities to serve.
The primary purpose of the team is:
- To partner with a Salvation Army Territory for a project or program ministry.
- To develop awareness of other cultures and The Salvation Army worldwide.
- To be an advocate for international development in your home corps (Partners in Mission, Gifts of Hope, Brighter Futures, etc.).
- To make an impact on the global work of The Salvation Army.
- To foster personal growth.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old.
- Actively attend a Salvation Army corps or serve as an employee.
- Visibly demonstrate a love for God and compassion for others.
- Emotional and spiritual maturity.
Requirements:
- Valid passport.
- Vaccinations, as required.
- Attend at least two pre-trip online sessions.
