Australia Territory

Previously the Territory Music Secretary for the former Australia Eastern territory, I am now part of the Australia Territory strategy team, helping our senior leadership teams discern what God has in store for the Army in Australia.

I have always seen that music and the arts are powerful gifts that communicate our deepest thoughts, hopes, and passions. By exploring new and existing creative works, we can enter beautiful and challenging spaces that help us understand each other, growing our awareness of what we each believe. I appreciate every opportunity to share experiences in worship settings, camps, tours and exhibitions, in workplaces, and even in disaster recovery, and these have been sources of inspiration and personal challenge.

I get to do life with my wife and three daughters, who are all incredible humans, gifted leaders, and talented creatives. While I am a songwriter, composer, arranger and orchestrator, I enjoy kicking back by testing my language skills on Duolingo, and doing deep dives in religious and cultural studies, physics, history, and travel.

Lord of Creation

I am excited to have worked with Linda Brinkman through the UK Music Editorial’s mentoring program. When Linda shared the idea and draft lead sheet of Lord of Creation, I could already hear Jesus Culture playing the chorus. I love original works as they tell a personal story based on someone’s unique experience. Linda’s excitement when describing the concept provided the energy and flow that helps it connect with anyone who uses it in worship.
