November 17, 2016: Majors Morris and Wanda Vincent, Assistant Chief Secretaries, looked at the fourth chapter of John’s gospel. Major Morris shared devotional thoughts and Major Wanda presented a monologue of the Woman at the Well.

November 11, 2016: Lt-Colonel Jim Champ, Secretary for Communications, led Remembrance Day chapel November 11, 2016.


October 27, 2016: Major Dale Pilgrim, Officer Personnel Secretary, led chapel November 3, 2016. His thoughts “Trust in the Lord” were drawn from Proverbs 3 and supported by video Trust Fall. The chapel ended with the song Cornerstone (My hope is built on nothing less).




October 20, 2016: Major Jennifer Groves, Assistant Divisional Commander Ontario Great Lakes, spoke at the THQ prayer breakfast. Her theme was “Be Still and Wait Patiently,” drawing from Psalm 46.




October 13, 2016: Dr. Aimee Patterson is a Christian Ethics Consultant with The Salvation Army Ethics Centre/Territorial Social Issues Committee. She specializes in religious ethics with a focus in bioethics. Aimee also engages in many social justice concerns.




October 6, 2016: Major Shirley King is a Resources Consultant for Women’s Ministries at THQ. She launched AT HOME WITH OTHERS, a new program that uses products created by Salvation Army OTHERS workshops and community development programs in Moldova, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Kenya.




September 29, 2016: Mr. Dion Oxford, Mission Strategist for The Salvation Army’s Homeless shelters in Toronto. Dion has spent more than 25 years working among people who are living on or close to the streets of Toronto. He is an advocate for people experiencing homelessness and/or disabilities.
