The EQUALIZER guides corps leadership teams by exploring four keys aspects in strengthening a disciple-making culture in their unique setting:
- Gain a deeper understanding of the Process of disciple-making;
- Consider the Person in disciple-making: We want to be and make CHRIST-centred, OTHERS-focused disciples;
- Understand the importance of helping individuals put a CHRIST-centred, OTHERS-focused faith into Practice;
- Explore how Programs should be intentional tools and environments that help strengthen each of these aspects of a disciple-making culture.
The EQUALIZER will help corps leadership teams:
- Assess their local context;
- Identify areas of strength and need;
- Envision the future;
- Develop a plan to take "next best steps";
- Establish a rhythm of regular assessment and reassessment, with the purpose of keeping the biblical mandate to "make disciples" central to all programming and ministry efforts.
