2nd Year Cadet - 1983 to present

The current 2nd Year Cadet Trim became active in June of 1983. The Servants of God Session were the first session to wear this model of trim.

The first year Cadet trim consists of a double red enamel bar which is placed horizontally on a royal blue epaulet which is encircled by black braid. (Soldiers Epaulet)

The white “S” with silver writing is placed on each of the royal blue patches which are placed on the lapels of the tunic.

The space of the royal blue patch was standardized in 2011 based on the shape of the patch used in the US Territories. By 2015, a blue enamel pin  (blue patch and white “S” combined) replaced the royal blue felt patches and white “S” pin.
