INTERNATIONAL MISSION AND MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

The Salvation Army is at work in more than 130 countries, sharing hope and serving communities around the globe. International Mission and Ministry opportunities invite you to step beyond your familiar surroundings and connect with fellow Salvationists and serve together. Whether you’re partnering on a specific project, learning from another culture, or simply walking alongside a local ministry team, every journey offers an opportunity to grow, serve, and see God at work in new ways. For many, a mission trip becomes more than a journey—it becomes a life-changing experience. Friendships are formed, perspectives are transformed, and faith is strengthened through shared moments of ministry and service.

International Mission and Ministry trips can be organized by a corps or division through the official process of the International Development Department. Individuals can also apply to join the Territorial Mission Team, bringing together Salvationists from across the Canada and Bermuda Territory to serve alongside another Territory and share in the work God is doing around the world.
