Advanced Strategic Leadership Certification
Build strategic leadership skills to lead with clarity, confidence and impact in the nonprofit sector.
This program provides a pathway for Salvation Army leaders to align approved external academic study with the Leadership Development framework, while grounding leadership practice in Christian ethics and values.
Eligibility
This program is open to Salvation Army leaders who have completed the Emerging Leaders program and are eligible for academic study at the master’s level.
Certification & Digital Badge
Because this program involves partnerships with post-secondary institutions, certification requirements may differ by institution. Participants will receive an official Salvation Army digital badge upon successful completion of their academic pathway.
Program Duration & Flexibility
Courses may be offered in a variety of formats, including online and in-person options, depending on the academic pathway. Program length and pacing will vary based on the institution and course requirements.
Program Cost
Leadership Development will cover travel costs for required in-person components and will subsidize tuition according to participant eligibility under our Education Policy. Any remaining expenses are the responsibility of the participant and, where applicable, the ministry unit. Full cost details and available financial supports will be shared during the application process.
