What is meant by well-being?
Well-being is a dynamic state shaped by the ongoing interaction between an individual and their surrounding systems—including personal traits, relationships, organizational environments and broader cultural contexts. It reflects a person’s ability to flourish through positive emotion, meaningful engagement, supportive relationships, a sense of purpose and accomplishment—all of which are influenced by and evolve through their lived experiences.
How can I ensure my voice as an officer continues to be heard?
The working group will be hosting conversations to engage with officers across the territory. There will be opportunity for every officer to have their voice heard. Officers can also reach out to members of the working group at any time, or contact us.
How will “success” in officer well-being be measured or communicated?
While the work will be on-going, through this website we plan to provide updates as recommendations are approved and implemented in relation to the key priorities identified in the study.
