raisedupIt's happening! On 15 July 2010, 1,000 Salvationist young adults will gather in Stockholm, Sweden, for the World Youth Convention, under the theme 'Raised Up'.

If it seems a long time away, take a look at the new WYC website at www.raisedup.org. Discover where delegates will spend four action-packed days in 2010 – the city, the university campus, the youth hostels. Take the virtual tour and imagine what it will be like in just one year's time.

As the WYC nears, the website will be changing and expanding, with articles, book excerpts, prayer requests, testimonies and information about creative arts groups who will be participating.

Delegates can look for their photo in 'Who will be there?' as well as seeing who else will be joining them in Sweden. The testimonies of participants brings a sense of reality to the lives of those people who will gather in Stockholm next year. They will also soon be able to contact other delegates so when they get to the convention next year they will already know each other. And they will be able to invite others to become 'virtual delegates'.

During the convention the website will include live-streamed events from Sweden. And, via satellite from selected sites around the world, similar youth events will be seen at the WYC. Could this be the largest Salvationist youth gathering in history?

The website is the place to experience the excitement of Salvationist youth, their commitment to God and their desire to be 'Raised Up' in their generation.
