2nd Year Cadet - 1960 to 1979
The training of Cadets became more in-depth in knowledge of the Bible as well as Field Training. In 1960, the Salvation Army Training College in Toronto began its first two-year training session.
The trim for the second-year cadet was two thin red braid which encircled the high collar with navy blue “S’s” on each side of the collar.
When low collar uniforms became standard, two thin red braid went vertically in the middle if a black epaulet which is encircled by a black braid. The navy blue
