Envoy - 1905 to 1985

The rank of Envoy is one of a noncommissioned Officer.

The trim of an Envoy consists of a black patch which has a royal blue floral leaf with the word ENVOY in the centre of it. The Envoy patch is placed on a black epaulet which is encircled with a black braid.

An Envoy may wear any model of “S’s” on the lapel of his/her tunic except the silver “S’s” with red patch which is considered Officer trim.

“An Envoy is a local officer whose duty is to visit corps, and particularly societies and outposts, for the purpose of conducting meetings. And Envoy may be appointed in charge of any such centre.”1
