Sessional Members (Cadets)

There is a world around us that's lost and in despair,

A world far from Jesus that needs to know we care;

There is a world that is hurting, without faith, torn by fear,

And there's a God who is reaching to draw his people near;

We have heard the call of God, we will take our stand;

We will speak his word of truth, take humanity by the hand.

 

We will build a bridge to seek the lost,

And to those far from God, we will point them to the cross;

We will walk them to the place where they can find his grace,

Where the light of God breaks through all doubt and pain.

We will build the Kingdom of our God,

We believe we'll conquer through his love,

For in Christ we now are free, his plan for us we see,

And we will follow where his Spirit leads.

 

There may be times we question

The wisdom of God's plan,

Times when we're searching

To find the strength to stand

And tell the world about Jesus

And the new life he gives,

But we believe all God's promised

And in his grace we live,

We have heard the call of God,

We will take our stand;

We will speak his word of truth,

Take humanity by the hand.
