He came unto His own but they received Him not;
A light shone out of the darkness but they saw it not;

We testify to that great Light;
From sin and blindness we have sight;
It was to save the world that Jesus came;
And by His grace we glorify His name.

We would be like Him our Faithful Intercessor;
On bended knees before Thy holy face we bow.

“There will be one to come”, the Master said,
He will come to guide you in the light.”

We testify to that great Light;

We would be like Him our Faithful Intercessor;
On bended knees before Thy holy face we bow;
We pray for those entrusted to our care,
That we’d be faithful to our calling;
Guiding them to Him who is the Light.

We testify to that great Light;

And by His grace we glorify His name.

We would be like Him our Faithful Intercessor;
On bended knees before Thy holy face we bow.
Give us a shepherd’s heart, a love for souls,
A fervent spirit, ‘tis our goal;
That we’d be faithful to the call of God.
