Heralds of Jesus Session 1991 - 1993
Sessional Picture
Sessional Members (Cadets)
You do not have to fret about the future,
You do not have to stumble in the dark;
You do not have to travel on your own any more,
Or fail ev’ry time to hit the mark.
There is one who can make your life anew;
He can save you from your boredom and frustration,
All your longings to be noble can come true.
Refrain
We are not worthy to untie His shoe laces,
We have no right to even name His name;
Yet He has called us to announce His coming;
For His name is Jesus,
His name is Jesus, His name is Jesus,
And He’ll save you from all shame.
Why should you always have to be a loser?
Why can’t you always beat what you detest?
Why let your lower nature always conquer,
And never rise to be your very best?
There’s a Saviour who’s always searching for you,
Who is constant in His tender love and care.
Why not tell Him your self-confidence has failed you,
And admit your desp’rate need of His repair?
The Lord intended you to be a winner,
Overcoming all unrighteousness and wrong;
You are called to be a saint and not a sinner,
In your heart the music of the angels’ song.
Be baptized today with Holy Spirit power,
Have your prejudice and blindness swept away
You can do the undoable, face the unfaceable,
When in your life the Lord has total sway.
Refrain
We are not worthy to untie His shoe laces,
We have no right to even name His name;
Yet He has called us to announce His coming;
For His name is Jesus,
His name is Jesus, His name is Jesus,
And He’ll save you from all shame.
“Heralds of Jesus!” “Heralds of Jesus!”
Serving in his holy name
His name! His Name!
