Messengers, we are Messengers of the Faith,
This then is the Message we have heard of Him,
And declare unto you that God is Light,
And in Him is no darkness at all."
Glorious the voice of the Messengers,
Wondrous the theme of Salvation,
List to the news we declare
List to the grand affirmation,
Christ is the Light;
The God- sent Light,
The Light that can conquer the darkness;
Light that will point the way to God,
That will lead guilty sinners back home.

This is the Message,
The God-given, message,
Christ is the Light and the Way,
Day star of Heaven;
To all the people given;
Hope for the wanderer astray.
Glorious the prospect
For this poor world,
Sing ye the message;
Proclaim we the message;
Strong in the name of the Lord.

Heed needy sinner our earnest pleas,
Waken from sin's deadly slumber,
Jesus will pardon the guilty past;
Never again to remember.
He who is Light
And Life and Love is near,
Ever near lo receive you;
Jesus who shed His precious Blood,
Able now to redeem and renew.
