1. To war; the clarion call goes forth from
Christ, the Mighty Captain.
The foe is rampant, girds the earth to
Overthrow the. Kingdom.
Souls are enslaved and sink in dark despair:
No hope have they beneath the tempter's snare.
Helpless, they wait for those who will declare
Liberty thro' Ghrist,
Liberty thro' Christ, ·their Saviour.

Forward marching, colours waving, waving,
Soldiers of Christ, fight on.
Nothing daunted, dangers braving, braving,
Soldiers of Christ, fight on.
Forth to the conflict, battling for the right;
Warriors made ready by the Spirit’s Might;
Soldiers of Christ are eager for the fight,
Following their Mighty Captain.

2. To arms; a noble band of Soldiers brave,
Put on the armour bright.
Their field the world is, no frontiers
Deter the harbinger of light.
From every corner of this isle they come;
Saved by the blood of Christ, God's only Son.
Called to make known there is for everyone
Liberty thro' Christ,
Liberty thro' Christ their Saviour.
