Companions of Christ.
We love the Master so;
He sought us, then brought us
His fellowship to know.
Companions of Christ.
Our joy is to proclaim
Salvation to the nation through
His holy name.

 

Christ selected twelve disciples
To be with Him day by day,
To receive divine instruction of His new and Jiving way,
And to follow Him more clearly.
Oh how privileged are we,
Being in that company:
Companions of Christ.
O Lord in Your fellowship we pray to abide,
Your holy example be our teacher and guide.
And may we be closer daily drawn to Your side,
Your blessing possessing O Lord, hear our prayer.

 

Christ appointed twelve apostles
To go out the Word to preach,
And to heal the broken hearted,
With new hope the poor to reach,
To go forth His Reign proclaiming,
Souls of men for Heaven claiming.
Oh how privileged are we,
Being in that company:
Companions of Christ.

0 Lord, in Your ministry we pray to remain.
In us may Your Holy Spirit constantly reii,1.
We share in Your glory, in Your suff'ring and pain,
Your blessing possessing
0 Lord, hear our prayer.
