Aliens from the commonwealth of God
Lost, without a compass on a path this world has trod.
Strangers from the covenant, the covenant of promise.
Lost, without Hope, without God.

 

But now in Christ Jesus, our Hope from on High,
We who were lost and far off are brought nigh.
From the dark, from the silence, from afar comes the Call:
The blood of our Lord heralds hope for us all.

 

Yes, we are the Heralds of Hope, preaching Christ to the lost.
We are the Heralds of Hope, never counting the cost.
We are the Heralds of Hope, we've a message to tell:
Jesus Christ has the power to save. '

 

A blessed Hope a lively Hope, the Hope of our Salvation.
For sinful men who have no Hope He is the world's Redemption.
The Hope of the righteous that bringeth no shame,
For a world lost in sin there is hope through His name.
