This is the grace we’ve been given,
This is the way we’ve been forgiven,
We want to know how best to please You,
Open our hearts so we can see.

This is the message that we’re singing,
This is the echo that we hear.
You’ve appointed now, you’ve anointed now,
We have seen your face; we receive your grace,
Heralds of Grace, by faith we go!
Of this gospel you appointed us heralds,
It’s your gospel that compels us to proclaim,
And the time is right, and the future’s right before us,
For this purpose you have called us into being,
It’s your message that is always on our tongue,

And it’s plain to see that we’re called to be your heralds!

Words of grace and words of power fill our senses,
Words of peace and words of beauty from our heart tell us how to speak,
Tell us who to reach with your message
If our voices are not singing of your mercy,
Then the stones will shout aloud and find their voice!
Show us what to say, show us how to play our part.
