Introduction to the Ministry of Stewardship Resources

Here at the Stewardship ministry we believe that every Christian is called to be a

good and faithful steward! Stewardship lifestyle is a natural product of a life surrendered to God, knowing that everything we own is God’s, and we are here on earth to manage it.

The Stewardship consultant can offer recommendations for resources, can teach or preach at the Corps, do an assessment that covers the current picture of the Corp’s finances, ministry and volunteers! With tools to help the leadership team discover the strength they have, and the challenges facing them.

Our vision is to see flourishing congregations, filled with purpose and vision to see the Kingdom and the works of God expand through them!

Detailed information about the assessment and process can be found in this .pdf document: Stewardship Resources...The Process

If you are interested in a teaching seminar, assessment or campaign contact the Stewardship Consultant, Tharwat Eskander.

Mission Trip

What Is It?

I’ve been thinking about what the term “missions trip” means, it’s used by thousands of high school age kids who decide to go to a poor country overseas to “help” the needy. At the same time by different church groups throughout North America. So what exactly am I planning to do in about a week from now?

Generosity and The Salvation Army

Giving from the heart

The Salvation Army was founded as a response to a great need! A man who was filled with compassion to the poor, the ill and the forgotten, that led him to actively reach them with the good news of the Gospel and to meet their physical needs at the same time. Trip through Athens

En route to Albania I stopped in Greece to meet with the Salvation Army Canadian officers serving there. Had the pleasure to visit with Captain Ray Lamont at the ministry centre in Athens.
