Captain Crystal Porter- Executive Director
Captain Crystal Porter is mixed Euro-Canadian and Mi'kmaw from Ktaqmkuk (Newfoundland, Canada). She and her husband, Norm have been married for 14 years and are living in St. John's Newfoundland with their family.
She is a graduate of Booth University College, and holds a Masters of Theological Studies from NAIITS, an Indigenous Learning Community specializing in Indigenous Theology. Crystal is currently the Executive Director of the Ethics Centre (pro-tem) and the Territorial Indigenous Ministries Consultant.
She is an avid reader, loves spending time at the ocean and enjoys teaching and sharing her love for traditional Mi'kmaw beading and quillwork.
