Message from the Territorial Commander

To all Salvationists, friends, and supporters of The Salvation Army's Partners in Mission Self-Denial Campaign:
Commissioner Debbie and I are delighted to greet you as we step into 2026. We thank God for the privilege of serving in the Canada and Bermuda Territory and for your faithful partnership in advancing the worldwide mission of The Salvation Army. Lives are being changed every day because of your generosity.
The world continues to face uncertainty, economic hardship and injustice. Yet, in the middle of these challenges, The Salvation Army is present in 134 countries, offering hope, practical care and the message of Christ. None of this would be possible without friends like you.
The Partners in Mission Self-Denial Campaign 2026 carries the theme “Give from the heart, transform the world” as inspired by Galatians 6:9-10: “Let us not become weary in doing good…. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people.” We are reminded that every act of kindness and generosity has the power to create lasting impact.
For 2026, the Canada and Bermuda Territory’s goal is $2.4 million, with a special focus on Costa Rica and Panama in the Latin America North Territory. These funds support The Salvation Army’s operations, enabling us to be present in local communities to share the love of Jesus.
Salvationists and friends, we invite you to stand with us again and give from your hearts. Every gift, no matter the amount, is a seed of hope that God will multiply. Together, we can bring transformation to individuals, families and communities around the Army world and glory to His name.
