COLONEL BRAMWELL TRIPP
The son of officer-parents, Colonel Tripp was born in Camborne, Cornwall, England, and moved to the U.S.A. as a child. He became an officer from Bangor, Me., in 1929 after training in New York.
From 1930 he served in several corps appointments in the U.S.A. Eastern Territory eventually taking command of the New York Temple Corps. Appointed a Divisional Youth Secretary, he undertook these, duties in three divisions.
In 1948 he began a lengthy term of service in the training of officers, first in New York and then, from 1954, as Principal of the Chicago School for Officers' Training. He became Field Secretary in the U.S.A. Central Territory in 1964 and four years later took up the post of Chief Secretary.
Mrs. Colonel Tripp left Butler. Pa., for the New York Training college in 1928, joining the same session as her future husband and with him served as a Cadet-Sergeant for the following session. After one corps command, as Captain Ethel Lindsay, she married the Colonel in 1931
Colonel Tripp's appointment to Canada is their first assignment outside of their homeland.
