Getting lost in the constantly changing landscape of bioethics? Looking for accessible teaching materials for use in classroom, church, or small group settings? On October 26, 2022, the Faith and Life Sciences Reference Group of the Canadian Council of Churches launched a new set of resources for churches on biotechnology. This event included short learning sessions on human gene editing and artificial intelligence followed by a plenary question and answer session. Participants not only learned more about these evolving technologies and their theological implications, but gained a framework for facilitating similar learning sessions in their faith or educational communities. The event was moderated by Rev. Dr. Peter Kuhnert. Guest panelists included Dr. Cory Andrew Labrecque (Laval University) and Dr. Aimee Patterson (Salvation Army Ethics Center).
