Candidates Discipleship Roadmap

Discipleship Roadmaps have been uniquely designed to help discipleship efforts become even more intentional in our ministry units (discipleship environments) and in the daily rhythms of life of individuals (personal discipleship). Each Roadmap uses a common Discipleship Essentials Lens, giving vision of what it looks like to be and to make CHRIST-centred, OTHERS-focused disciples.

We all come from God and will return to Him eventually, but that road in between is almost never clear. It's full of ups, downs, roadblocks and mountain tops, all part of your journey with God. This guide will help you figure out your God story by helping you identify these key moments when God has been present and how all these experiences, good and not so good, come together to make you who you are today.

 

The Shape of Calling

Discerning a calling from God takes time. On your journey of discernment, it can be beneficial to invite other spiritual leaders around you who can provide feedback, bring perspective, and offer encouraging words and prayer.

S.H.A.P.E.

S.H.A.P.E. is an acrostic made popular by Pastor Rick Warren, of Saddleback Church in Southern California. This assessment was adapted from Pastor Rick's material to help you better understand who God made you to be. As you begin unpacking your God-given "S.H.A.P.E.", it is our earnest prayer that you will understand more fully what it means for you to serve God and His Kingdom so that your passion can meet God's purpose!
