About Us
Today the Army in Canada has more than 500 active officers (clergy), approximately 14,500 soldiers (church members) and close to 27,000 adherents, that is, people who claim The Salvation Army as their church home. There are more than 260 corps (community churches), approximately 400 social services locations and one university/college. In addition to more than 95,000 volunteers, close to 8,900 people are employed by The Salvation Army in the Canada and Bermuda Territory.
