Dr. Lucinda McQuarrie ia a lifelong Salvationist, a lay leader at The Salvation Army’s Willows Church and Family Life Centre, and a medical doctor in Langley, B.C.—one of five inspiring Salvationist women we are spotlighting in October for Women's History Month.

On this episode, Dr. Lucinda talks about her spiritual journey—from her first encounter with the Holy Spirit as a child, to her leadership at The Willows and what God is teaching her today. And we explore how she lives out her faith in her medical practice, and why her own experience of miraculous healing reminds her that God is in control.

I just happened on the podcast on Facebook and realized that Dr. Hacienda is the little girl that we knew loved when she was in Edmonton with her parents as our officers at our Corps. I remember attending wedding her ceremony. Over the years I sort of lost touch with Dr. Lucinda personally over but I follow her sister and her kids on Facebook occasionally . Also keep in touch with her grandma, who is a Godly lady with a quiet strength. I have enjoyed the podcast and seeing the maturing of Dr. Lucinda as a physician and a salvationist Christian. Praying for her Christian example that it will be a means of leading others to Christ in her church and as a physician. 🙏
