The Salvation Army has been active in Indonesia since 1894, continuing its mission to spread the gospel and serve those in need. Corps life is vibrant, with officers, senior soldiers and junior soldiers deeply involved in their communities. Alongside spiritual care, the Army provides health care and education, with hospitals and a School of Nursing making a significant impact. This growth is supported by the Self-Denial Campaign, as the territory embraces its slogan: "Let Your Fire Keep Burning!”
