This new CD commemorates the Canadian Staff Band's 40th anniversary and is the first album to be released under Bandmaster John Lam. In addition to the title track by Leslie Condon, the disk also includes Robert Redhead's Deus Vobiscum, which tells the story of the sinking of the Empress of Ireland, enhanced by the composer's own narration.
