We all woke up this morning to hear the devastating news of an 8.2 magnitude earthquake hitting northern Chile. The quake struck at 8:46am UTC and Chile's National Emergency Office had asked residents on the coastal shoreline to evacuate as a tsunami warning was put in place. The Salvation Army will respond once the damage is assessed as the sunrises.
Please keep The Salvation Army in Chile in your prayers, as well as the residents in the affected areas.
