Salvation Army Celebrates Santa Shuffle Virtually
Thousands of participants raced in cities across the territory.

For the first time in 30 years thousands joined the Santa Shuffle online.
On December 18, Salvation Army representatives met in a virtual roundtable with key federal government ministers together with other agencies that are addressing food insecurity across Canada. It was announced on the call that The Salvation Army will receive an additional $8.85 million in funding for COVID-19 relief in Canada.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by other members of the Royal Family, has thanked The Salvation Army for its frontline work during the pandemic.
The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign is the largest public fundraiser of the year, supporting 1.9 million vulnerable people in 400 communities across Canada.
