Week 1 – Stand Up – Day 3

Trafficking in persons is a serious crime and a grave violation of human rights. Every year, thousands of men, women, and children are preyed upon by traffickers in their own countries and abroad.  There are many risk factors that increases the exposure and defenselessness of individuals in which traffickers intentionally seek out to exploit and entrap people.  Check out our Spot the Risks of Slavery and Human Trafficking Poster highlighting 6 risk factors that make people more vulnerable to be trafficked.

Print out copies and hang them around your ministry unit in visible areas such as the back of bathroom stall doors, in waiting rooms for Family Services and Food Banks, in offices, on bulletin boards, and in children and youth rooms, everywhere.
