Day 6 - STEP UP through Proof 

Ensure our response both contributes to and receives from research and is informed by evidence-based practices.

We want to ensure that our response to the fight for freedom both contributes and receives from research. To STEP UP through PROOF, it is imperative to collect data and information from stories heard and shared; use SAMIS and work with your MSHT Response Advocate. 

We want to support both internal and external policies; this is how we STEP UP through POLICY.

We will create internal policies and advocate for external policies that reduce modern slavery and human trafficking and its demands

You can assist by:

  • partnering with your MSHT Response Advocate
  • adhering to The Salvation Army Ministry Worker Screening process
  • being aware of local laws and provide easy-to-understand versions of them (Connect with your Divisional/Regional/Provincial MSHT Advocate for assistance)
