Crystal Porter

Captain Crystal Porter is a Salvation Army officer originally from Newfoundland and Labrador. She currently serves as Territorial Indigenous Ministries Consultant for the Canada and Bermuda Territory. On October 1, Crystal will also take on the appointment of Assistant Territorial Youth Secretary while continuing her work with Indigenous Ministries.

Through teaching, relationship-building and resource development, Crystal supports The Salvation Army's commitment to reconciliation and right relationships.

Crystal and her husband, Captain Norm Porter, are parents to their son, Dawson. She enjoys reading, spending time near the ocean, and traditional Mi'kmaw beadwork and quillwork.
