Persons Day: From Legal Recognition to Freedom
Thursday, October 22, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Online via Zoom
Persons Day is celebrated in Canada each year on October 18, but what is it? In this session, we'll use Persons Day as a starting point for reflecting on gender equity, dignity, participation and justice in Canada-and to connect that history to the contemporary realities of modern slavery and human trafficking (MSHT).
