Welcoming the Stranger: Faith, Solidarity, and the Refugee Journey
In recognition of World Refugee Day 2026, this webinar explores the refugee journey through both a biblical and human lens, reflecting on the realities of displacement, resilience, and the shared responsibility to welcome newcomers with compassion, dignity, and justice.
Together, we will examine current refugee challenges, the importance of solidarity and protection, and how faith communities can respond through meaningful relationships, hospitality, advocacy, and practical support. The conversation will also consider the value of cultural humility — listening, learning, and fostering mutual respect — as we seek to create communities of belonging and hope.
