HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Eligibility: This program is open to all Officers and Employees who have been in a full-time role with The Salvation Army for at least 2 years. All applicants require the endorsement of their manager / supervisor.
Cost: All costs are covered by Leadership Development.
Time Commitment: Participants are required to attend all virtual learning sessions, group practicum, and group coaching sessions.
Fall 2024 Cohort Schedule
Virtual Learning Sessions: Every Friday* from September 13 to November 1, 2024
8:00 - 11:00 a.m. PT | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. MT | 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. CT | 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. ET | 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. AT | 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. NT
Group Practicum Session: November 20, 2024
9:00 - 10:30 a.m. PT | 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. MT | 11:00 a.m. - 12: 30 p.m. CT | 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. ET / 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. AT | 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. NT
Group Coaching Sessions: Participants will be assigned to a small group and required to complete three 1.5-hour group coaching sessions. These groups will determine their own meeting schedule.
*There is no Virtual Learning session on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Notes:
1) If you have previously taken Excelerator™ Essentials Parts 1 or 2, you are not eligible to apply to this program.
2) To provide the most effective possible learning environment for coaching, couples will be asked to participate in a separate cohort from their partner.
Applications for the Fall Cohort will open later this year. We will communicate this information as widely as possible, including sending emails to be cascaded down from Divisional Leadership and posting messages on MyArmy.
