DEPARTMENTS
WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
The mission of our Women’s Ministries department is to encourage women in their knowledge and intimacy with Jesus Christ; resource their leadership in all spheres of life; create opportunities for intergenerational mentoring of girls, and bring to the forefront of our organization issues which affect in particular women and girls in the 21st century.
Learning Pathways is a prerequisite for salvation army personnel and volunteers who plan to participate in Brave events across the territory. Learning Pathways' focus on community engagement will help leaders to create intentional connections and mentoring post-Brave events.
Through a learning cohort formed in your corps, youth, or women’s group, you will journey with fellow students and explore ways in which you can make more meaningful connections in your community, through work, school, clubs or neighbours. Reflecting on your own personal beliefs and priorities will help you better understand your skills, talents, and passions.
Students will complete all 12 sessions of both Community Engagement and Personal Development through registering for the online e-learning or by filling in the supplied workbook and keeping track of personal reflections and practical applications.
