With the retirement of officers and the regular officers being overworked why doesn't the Army look into an assistant officer program but would this be to easy. Also leave officers longer in order to keep the corps going.

I was disappointed to see the moves today. Not only are we losing officers we have only had for three years (this will be five sets of officers in less than 9 years!), but no one has yet been assigned to our corps. makes you feel special.
