    2018 Executive Appointments Announced

    These appointments will come into effect later this year. March 20, 2018

    International Headquarters has approved the following appointments:

    Major Brian Armstrong, currently Leadership Development Secretary, is appointed as Secretary for Personnel effective May 1, 2018 with the promotion to the rank of Lt-Colonel effective May 1, 2018.

    Major Lynn Armstrong, currently Director of Pastoral Services, is appointed as Secretary for Program effective June 29, 2018 with the promotion to the rank of Lt-Colonel effective May 1, 2018.

    Major John Murray, currently Territorial Secretary for Public Relations and Development, is appointed as Secretary for Communications. Territorial Secretary for Public Relations and Development is to be incorporated in Secretary for Communications responsibility.  Major Murray will take up his new appointment responsibilities with the promotion to the rank of Lt-Colonel effective June 29, 2018.

    Lt-Colonel Jim Champ will be entering honourable retirement effective July 1, 2018.

    Major Brenda Murray, currently Director of World Missions, appointment unchanged. Major Murray will be promoted to the rank of Lt-Colonel effective June 29, 2018.

    Lt-Colonel Marsha-Jean Bowles, currently Secretary for Program, is appointed as Corps Officer, Etobicoke Temple, Ontario Central-East Division effective June 29, 2018.

    Lt-Colonel David Bowles, currently Corps Officer, Georgina Corps, Ontario Central-East Division, is appointed as Corps Officer, Etobicoke Temple, Ontario Central-East Division effective June 29, 2018.
