Internal conflicts grew until one day Mike reached his limit, and a life-changing altercation left him without a place to stay. Eventually, Mike connected with The Salvation Army’s Journey to Life Centre in Thunder Bay, Ont., where he began his path to stability. “I feel a lot better now. I feel like I’ve improved here. I feel safe here at The Salvation Army,” he shares.
