Ethical Storytelling, Use of Images and MSHT

November 21, 2024 at 11 am PST / 12 pm MST / 1 pm CST / 2 pm EST / 3 pm Atlantic

We live in a world where storytelling and images are a daily part of our casual and formal conversations, presentations, meetings, articles, and fundraising appeals. So how do we tell stories and use images in an ethical way – especially when it comes to modern slavery and human trafficking response work.

In this webinar, participants will learn about the terms and concepts of ethical storytelling, images and stories while exploring concerning trends in MSHT around use of images and sharing of stories. Participants will also learn about the international guidelines and promising practices while being introduced to Canada and Bermuda’s Guidelines for Ethical Storytelling and Use of Images document.
