One year ago, Gateway Linens opened shop and began cleaning linens and towels for all of The Salvation Army's five downtown shelters in Toronto. Dion Oxford, director of Gateway Shelter, realized that all of the laundry was costing the Army over $325,000 a year, and so came up with this cost-saving initiative.
