During the Second World War, members of The Salvation Army's Red Shield Services travelled overseas to support troops on the front lines of battle, often facing great danger themselves as they sought to "care for the body, mind and soul" of the soldiers.'

In this video, General Clarence Wiseman and Brigadier Kenneth Graham share their first-hand accounts of serving with The Salvation Army during the war.

The video also features rare archival photos and footage, along with real artifacts used by the Red Shield Services, provided by The Salvation Army's Heritage Centre (Canada and Bermuda Territory).
