ETHICAL DECISION MAKING AND MSHT TRAINING
Canada and Bermuda Territory
This training is composed of 3 modules that can be completed online at anytime, from anywhere for free and at your own pace within 6 months. Each module consists of teaching videos while providing access to applicable resources. In order to move on to the next module, participants are required to complete either a case study or respond to a question to test and stretch their knowledge. Individuals who successful complete each module will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
Training Description
This training focuses on assisting participants in developing and employing Michael Josephson’s Seven Step Path and Prophetic Contextualism + Ensure Justice ethical decision making models, as it pertains to modern slavery and human trafficking situations. Participants will learn the importance of personal values, personal value systems, and operational moral codes while exploring and describing each of these in their personal and professional lives. The concept of ethics and ethical decision making will be defined while highlighting their importance from a MSHT and Christian perspective. Participants will learn about the “religio cultural soup” that dominates most moral decision making, paying particular attention to the moralistic, subjective well-being, and the Divine Butler / Cosmic Therapist approaches and the Ethical Egoism approach to ethical decision making. Case studies will be used throughout this training to help reinforce and provide spaces for participants to further grow and employ what they learn.

Module Description:
Module 1: Personal Values, Personal Value Systems, and Operational Moral Codes – Explores the concepts, importance and examples of personal values, personal value systems, and operational moral codes. Participants will be given opportunity to determine and describe their own personal values, personal value systems, and operational moral codes.
Module 2: Ethics and Ethical Decision Making – The concept of ethics and ethical decision making will be defined while highlighting their importance from a MSHT and Christian perspective. Participants will learn about the “religio-cultural soup” that dominates most present day moral decision making, paying particular attention to the moralistic, subject well-being, Divine Butler / Cosmic Therapist, and the Ethical Egoism approaches.
Module 3: Michael Josephson’s Seven Step Path and Prophetic Contextualism + Ensure Justice – Defines and explains Michael Josephson’s Seven Step Path and Prophetic Contextualism + Ensure Justice while looking at case studies to challenge participants to use what they have learned.
